Goat Milk body wash is great for dry and sensitive skin but add a little bit of shea butter and it is basically heaven in a bottle. Our brand NEW goat milk body wash is super moisturizing and pH balanced.
We have worked to perfect this recipe for over a year, testing with multiple skin types to include her own. I personally suffer from eczema and psoriasis, so I am on the picky side when looking for moisturizing soap recipes. Out of the dozens of formulas attempted in the shop, this is the winner winner chicken dinner! No just kidding, there are no animal by-products in this product with the exception of our goat milk. 😉
This body wash uses a surfactant that is the alternative to SLS (sodium lauryl ether sulfate), a very harmful and harsh surfactant used by big brands due to it’s cost. During development, we knew that SLS was non-negotiable to leave that ingredient out. Instead we found the best alternative is SLeS (sodium laureth sulfate) and to boot this ingredient does not cost an arm and a leg, it is very affordable.
Directions: Start by wetting your skin. Using your hands, a loofah, shower poof, or our large sea sponge, place a quarter size amount of body wash and wet. Work up a lather, depending on water types you may need to add a little bit more body wash. Please note this body wash is potent but like all of our surfactant based products, it will act different in hard water vs. soft water.
7 weighted ounces of goat milk body wash contain the following ingredients: water, sodium laureth sulfate (SLeS – gentle sulphate free surfactant), cocamidropropyl betaine, vegetable glycerin, glycol stearate, shea butter, goat’s milk, propylene glycol, Germaben II (Propylene Glycol, Diazolidinyl Urea, Methylparaben, Propylparaben), Thickener (PEG-150 pentaaerythrityl tetrastearate, PEG-6, caprylic/capric glyceride), fragrance oil, and citric acid.
